This shadowbox contains several mandalas of various sizes. They were drawn on mat board and painted with rich colors. Next the mandalas were deconstructed by cutting out each concentric ring. Then they were reconstructed in three dimensions by placing each ring on stepped supports to create a shallow cone. The box is an inch deep and there are over 7 layers going up and down.
